====== KeexyBox - Wi-Fi Access Point ======

KeexyBox can provide a Wi-Fi Access Point. It use hostapd to provide the service. This page allows you to setup the Access Point.

:!: Steps before configuring Access Point :
  - Plug a RJ45 câble between your RaspberryPI and your Internet Router.
  - Make sure your RaspberryPI have the Internet connectivity from the wired link.
  - Make sure your devices have the connectivity to your RaspberryPI.

:!: Notes when enabling Wi-Fi Access Point:
  * A bridge will be created between a wired Interface and a wireless Interface.
  * The Wi-Fi interface of your RaspberryPi can no longer be used to connect it to a Wi-Fi network.
  * A new interface called ''br0'' will be created. This interface will be use for [[network_topologies#use_keexybox_for_website_filtering_and_anonymity|Input and Output networks]].

To setup the Wi-Fi Access Point:
  - Use your browser and connect to the [[using_admin_access|KeexyBox Management Web interface]].
  - On left menu, go to ''System settings -> Wi-Fi Access Point''.
  - You will be redirected to the ''Wi-Fi Access Point settings'' page.
  - Complete the form as explained below.
  - When you are done, click on ''Save'' to save settings otherwise click on ''Cancel''. You will need to [[diagnostics_services_power#services|reload hostapd service]] or [[diagnostics_services_power#power_management|reboot]] KeexyBox for the configuration to take effect.

Wi-Fi Access Point settings :

|**SSID**|The name of the Wi-Fi Network.|
|**Channel**|Channel number to use. To be changed to avoid interference.|
|**Operation mode**|Bandwidth (speed) that the bands provide.|
|**Enable Wi-Fi Multimedia**|When enabled it provide a quality of service for multimedia trafic.|

|**Hide Access Point**|Hide or show SSID.|

|**Enable Authentication**|Enable or disable authentication to connect to Wi-Fi network.|
|**Passphrase**|Wi-Fi Password if authentication is enabled.|
