KeexyBox - Manage users and devices connections
The KeexyBox connection manager allows the administrator to pause, disconnect, reconnect users and devices from the Internet. It also allows you to see the Internet usage of each connection.
Go to the connection manager:
- Use your browser and connect to the KeexyBox Management Web interface.
- On left menu, go to
Connections
.
The page will show you all the user and device connections established by KeexyBox. You can launch actions on each of the connections.
Pause/Resume connections
The pause
action pauses the Internet connection of the user or device.
When a connection is paused, the user or the device no longer has access to the Internet.
The resume
action restores the paused Internet connection of the user or the device.
A paused connection for a user does not allow them to disconnect or reconnect to the Internet until the connection has been resumed by a KeexyBox administrator.
Pause a single connection
- Identify in the list the user or device connection you wish to pause
- Click on:

- Identify in the list the user or device connection you wish to resume

Pause multiple connections
- In the list, check the box to the left of the column
Connection name
- At the bottom of the page, in the selection menu

Disconnect
The disconnect
action disconnect the Internet connection of the user or device.
Unlike a connection on pause
, the disconnection allows the user to reconnect himself.
Disconnect a single connection
- Identify in the list the user or device connection you wish to disconnect
- Click on:
Disconnect multiple connections
- In the list, check the box to the left of the column

- At the bottom of the page, in the selection menu

Reconnect
The reconnect
action disconnect and reconnect the Internet connection of the user or device. It allows you to reload connection settings. This is useful when the used profile has been changed.
Reconnect a single connection
- Identify in the list the user or device connection you wish to disconnect
- Click on:
Reconnect multiple connections
- In the list, check the box to the left of the column

View a connection details
The view
button allows you to have the details of the profil used for the connection.
